your brother is that one hockey player . how much does it annoy you when people compare you to him ?

i know right? * she laughs delightedly, practically beaming at their words * i’d be so complex. * but she listens attentively to them, head poised to one side as lips purse as they carry and dark eyes grow raw in her own concern * are you kidding me? /he said that/? after you— oh my god. screw him. i’m your dad now, adam. well done, son! i’m very proud of you, more than you’ll ever know. your brothers need to chill and play more like you. you’re doing great. * she seems heated, but not once does anger filter through her expression that’s kept pleasantly friendly for the other * screw him. * is all she adds, tone heated despite her calming expression * @cellyszn

hm . you would be a pretty good villain in the dc universe , all the angst is just waiting to be brought to life . was that somewhat deep ? * even if he laughs , he knows what it feels like to have parents like that . * my backstory ? grew up in vancouver , moved to toronto . got noticed enough to get drafted to the london knights . played in the iihf championships and all that . got drafted and in my rookie year , won a cup with my team . then they traded me to the the canucks . * now , it was his turn to ramble , summing up his entire life story as quickly as he can . * my dad ,, compared me to my brothers . told me that i needed to be more strong like them , more aggressive . funny enough , i was the only one who has a stanley cup .

let’s go with that for sure— he does, for sure. oh man, if you told that he’d cry out of joy. * she chuckles lightly, arms folding against her chest as she nods in faint agreement * definitely always has sucked. always will. because of my brother, i’m assuming? * she grins all too easily once more, dimple on her left cheek deepening * not because of him. parents, mainly. they’re just focused on their golden boy. i’m over trying to get their attention now, i’m mainly still peed off for my younger siblings. the youngest is doing really good in his team, our dad coaches him like he coached will. but does he get anything? no. not even from mom. it’s /me/ and it’s not fair on any of them. so i quit and they had the decency to get all annoyed and stuff. that’s my uh, angsty backstory. how’s it going for you now? @cellyszn
