“don’t i know it,”  kaiyo’s content to stand there,  especially with igoy so readily indulging her little moments of a green monster rearing it’s head.  “/ow/,  did you just hit me?  i’m totally telling your ma.”  the later part is grumbled partially into igoy’s chest,  trailing off as kai is mostly distracted by the girl moving.  

and he rolls his eyes slightly.   "⠀⠀i'm so happy to have my knight in shining armour here to protect me.⠀⠀" another cackle at the insult,  and he smacks his head lightly for being impolite as if he wasn't laughing seconds ago.

you’re right.  like the angels from doctor who.  i look away and she strikes.  * she hugs a little tighter at that  [for the emphasis] *  don’t worry.  i’ll protect you.  bet you if i wasn’t here she’d be chatting you up.  * they sigh contently at the playing of his hair,  head shifting only slightly to peek at their current nemesis *  foul wench.
