    this  is  definitely  the  first  time.  i  promise  you  that.  ⁽  after  all  dennis  would  easily  be  able  to  tell  if  he'd  actually  come  across  someone  before  simply  by  the  feeling  they  gave  him.  there  was  a  certain  tingle  that  came  with  familiarity.  the  way  he  was  being  eyed  right  now,  however.ᐣ  it  was  nothing  short  of  unsettling,  everything  in  him  was  telling  him  to  run  but  he  was  stuck  in  place.  ⁾

    instead  of  being  flat  out  '  you're  making  my  senses  go  crazy  '  he  froze  and  he  turned  to  full  on  face  him,  pressing  his  glasses  up  that  had  slight  slid  down  the  bridge  of  his  nose.  “  nah.  i  just  thought  i  knew  you.  but i  don't.  ”  he  looked,  kinda  distressed  honestly  but  that  was  how  he  was.  seeing  the  dead,  and  so  much  more  a  power  that  wasn't  worth  having  for  the  most  part.  it  drove  him  nuts.  made  him  LOOK  nuts.

" none of them ? well that brain of yours seems to work just fine . " she mused , raising a brow as she watched over him , stifling a gentle laugh " all your feelings seem in working order too " she added , she had never encountered someone she couldn't influence before and whilst she was first and foremost a woman of passion and emotion , a deep want for understanding bubbled somewhere inside her . " he'll be fine- though i'm sure you wouldn't care either way ? "

            nina couldn't help the laughter that tumbled out of her , though she attempted to mask it with a playfully disdainful shake of her head .  " i don't care about manners ... i care that i haven't managed to find a red more perfect than this and if it were to go missing many a client of mine would be rather unhappy i'm sure ... and well i need the money . " she confessed with a huff , her head tilting at his words " i would beg to differ , i stand here untouched , do i not ? that would imply gentleness , no ? " she asked , watching him as he looked around " i should hope so . if i were not who i am , i imagine i would've paid good money for it . people don't like to take my money , they find me far too charming " she pointef out with a laugh
