Mark Jefferson is a senior UNIX administrator for the Department of Defense, writer, and author of several books and short stories, including the OVERSEER series.

Mark is a certified UNIX Systems Administrator and has spent his entire life reading and writing Science Fiction and Fantasy stories. His unique approach to character development and magical mechanics makes his stories real page-turners. His latest work is an epic fantasy novelette A Giant Problem, which he is expanding into a feature-length book.

Mark lives near St. Louis, Mo. and enjoys geeking out on computers. In fact, he developed the idea for the OVERSEER universe by working with industrial computing. Mark has a patient, long-suffering wife, two grown children, and three fur-babies (Greyhounds).
