hi! thank you so much, i really appreciate it. i would say the thing that helped me the most was reading soooo many books before i even thought about writing! i read for years before i wrote my first book, which would give me inspiration and ideas. you should definitely read until you can find the type of writing style you like, and go from there. you should add a chapter before the actual first chapter of your book showing what your book may consist of and explaining your characters, that always helped me.  i looked at a lot of help book, you can search up “writing help” or “help” or even look in some writers reading lists and they will have books are basically advice for how to enhance your writing. i always wrote really long chapters at first, really going into detail with what was happening, and added little gifs or pictures in my chapters made my books more intriguing i think. But i’ve always written a fanfic about someone who’s trending, i’ve never written a book from scratch so i think my stories did so well because people were searching that person up at the moment.
            
            
            
             my advice to you would be to make your chapters a little longer, write with great detail, ease into the plot, look for advice in the help books because some of those give good advice, write an introducing chapter at the beginning of your book instead of jumping right in to the first chapter so people can kind of get an idea first, you know? and definitely try to find the style of writing want for your writing and account overall. i hope this helps, i’m not really good with advice
