Unfortunately, I didn’t need a week to decide that I’m no longer feeling good about writing on wattpad most of the members now are ghost readers and bots then if you’re a black author you’re limited in what you can write about if you want your book to be recognized ALSO there’s literally no point of publishing on wattpad other than having your story idea stolen.
          
          So yeah I’m leaving but ill be back in 6 months or a year only to interact with readers of Benevolence book (my only published work on here) I just need a break from writing I haven’t stopped writing since I was 9, currently I’m working on a romance novel and a horror-thriller that I wanted to get traditionally published so hopefully that comes to fruition, I’m excited to embark on this new journey and you will see my stories in stores one day. 
          
          My final advice would be not to sell yourself short and posting your work on wattpad especially if it’s original content is a huge disservice to yourself.

I have writers block and am extremely burnt out creatively so I’m going to be taking another week long break from wattpad hopefully to understand if I still want to complete the other books on this site :(

I’m going to try to finish the rest of my books then afterwards I’ll be leaving wattpad for good and who knows? You might see one of my books in stores, I will be leaving Benevolence up, and keeping one other book up so if there’s any story you want me to bring back or keep up on this page when I leave please let me know? But only 1 story of mine.

Seeing TikTokers and YouTubers getting book deals over actual talented writers is so discouraging especially when you know they are only doing it for the clout and money and never really wanted to be writers but it’s always poetic justice when they release these bad books and get dragged by readers lol 

I wish I didn’t push everyone out so that I could at least have one person that I could go over my crazy story ideas with but I’m so skeptical of making friends I mean genuine friends since having so many bad experiences in the past

Y’all I’m happy to say that the prayers worked, I went for a checkup today and my kidneys are doing better, I’m so happy like there’s literally no words., thanks for the advice and prayers ❤️

The DOJ sucks like they keep asking me to fill out forms and claiming there’s nothing they can do to help me

I can’t wait for the Michael movie, who else? I had wrote a Michael, Prince, and Whitney fanfic that I never posted but it was so good that I should have maybe I’ll write something again after seeing the movie

I ask myself if I’m not receiving ANY feedback on my stories then what’s the point of being on this app? If only to have your story idea potentially stolen. Most members on this site now are bots and ghost readers and it’s a shame. If I were writing nonblack character books or stereotypical books my mentions would be flooded but I’m barely receiving 2 votes on my book chapters so I really see no point in publishing and updating. Then the official @wattpad page likes to overlook stories by Black American authors. It’s really too fking much. So no I won’t be updating any of my books until I feel like it and that will ONLY be the ones I decide that I want to update. Im nonlonger following a schedule and if you don’t like that then you should’ve engaged with the story more instead of being a big weirdo. Period
