It really does pmo seeing EVERYONE and their mama pretending to be writers now that it’s popular like where were you all 5 years ago??? And then they’re getting book deals and agents before the writers who actually put blood, sweat, and tears in this bs like I try not to let this get to me but it does so badly to the point I can’t stand to login into YouTube or TikTok because I’m bombarded by these types like this is far from hating and I really do wish everyone the best of luck in the publishing world but I have to call it like I see it then they ALL have copied the same aesthetic knowing deep down that’s not who they are and they are just playing follow the leader on a internet personality because it’s so popular to be introverted/social anxiety, love matcha and/or coffee, the fall weather, anime .etcetc they literally are the nepo babies of the writing world especially when they show up with thousands and millions of followers already then switch over into making writer/bookish content when they were just doing makeup, perfume, fashion, gaming .etc centered videos before

They’re banning TikTok, wattpad is down bad and they took away newsfeed, messages and too many ads, IG algorithm is trash like how are we supposed to promote our work? This is some bs I swear
