Based in the Midwest, I've been writing since I was seven which was the same year I finally learned to handwrite and spell after being a late bloomer in school. Growing up with a speech impediment made me shy, but it also pushed me toward writing, which became more than an escape, it was my way to prove the doubters wrong. I joined Wattpad 13 years ago on my first account, back when I spent hours lurking the site for boyband fanfiction as a teenager, before branching out to create stories centered around Black characters of my own, they weren't always well written or interesting but the feeling of creating was enough which made me feel confident to self-publish some of my work outside of WattPad under a pen name therefore I'll always be thankful for this website for giving me a head start by creating a community that gave me followers that I absolutely adore and appreciate till this day, but as I go forward into the route of traditional publishing I have to say my final goodbyes. 💋
