Merchant banker living a bohemian life of peaceful simplicity with 5 playful children as most treasured assets (and indeed liabilities) on a joyful balance sheet. I enjoy writing, with malice intent, in a world chronically short of pure poetry. Writing novels and poetry in our bi-polar world of endless sorrow (bears) and exuberant joy (bulls) not only structures the thinking, but also facilitates moral recovery and sometimes spiritual healing from the insanity of performing King Lear, Much Ado About Nothing and Merchant of Venice at the same day - as most money lenders (and their fellow mortals) do on the extended Shakespearean stage of their everyday lives.

Carpe diem - All the gold at Fort Knox is not worth a simple life lived to the fullest extent. To me financial accounting, value-based investing, risk & portfolio management, company law, psychiatry, philosophy and spirituality are the modus operandi or surgical instruments to enhance an inclusive life, embracing diversity, social justice and love. Although quite enjoying the pure poetry of nuclear physics and mathematics, I generally prefer to be approximately right rather than precisely wrong.
