heya author! this might be a sorta weird compliment but i genuinely love how refreshing your work is, and i love how you didnt shy away from including themes like underage smoking 😭
          
          i mean, i’ve probably been reading megumi fanfic since like 2020-21 now and more often than not, its the same story- a nonchalant brooding guy falling in love with a heartbroken but strong girl who just needs love to complete her. 
          
          but your story is genuinely so fucking cool (so far, i havent actually finished it yet 😭) i love the new take because usually i dont like AUs as they’re so cringey but yours just gives off such a real highschool vibe i feel like im actually there while reading it. 
          
          as a writer myself (this isnt my writing acc), i also wanted to put in themes of smoking or drinking in my megumi fic, but i feel like people are just SO against it and are overly negative about it.
          
           did you ever think of the possible criticism while writing your fic? i dont mean to be rude!! im still finishing my fic and really want to include it as well but i just cant let go of the thought that people might hate on the fic because of that one moment. 
          
          and all of this aside, i just found your overall theme so fucking cool and i LOVE the songs you’ve used !! again, its just so refreshing to see my actual music taste on wattpad and not just cringey songs from like 2020 😭

          you set the whole story up so well and beautifully.
          ive been searching for a megumi fushiguro fanfiction like this for SO long and deciding to start reading yours was such a good idea. im not gonna lie i was afraid at first, because building up  a story with such a deep meaning is not easy and is something not everyone can do, but you captured it perfectly. and the fact that you can work with your word in such good ways at your young age is truely fascinating, and you're only like two years older than me. your song choices are also really good, ive been listening to the playlist while reading and it gives such a vibe to it, although some of them are not something i usually listen to, you did a good job with it<3
          
          and i dont know i just really feel connected to the characters, maybe because im in a really bad phase of my life and it makes me comfortable reading about teenagers my age having mental health problems like mine? i dont know if thats sound weird, i promise its not because i like to read about kids suffering or it could be personal preference, since the books i usually read has psychological sides to it. 
          
          anyway, you're an amazing writer, keep going, we all love you and we all love the chapters you write for us !

hi! i don’t know if you’ll see this but i wanted to share that your work, cupid’s code, is one of the best written work ive read. this is my first post ever and im glad its appreciating a work as good as yours. I just read like 90% of the chapters and finished with megumis chapter on his life. i am genuinely awestruck. i have read so many fics in the years ive had wattpad, tumblr, and ao3, and quite frankly none of them compares to yours. i love reading and its hard to pic a favorite, but i am confident your writing is a top 5. every chapter i read i get more and more immersed. i feel like im transported in another world when i read it which might be me exaggerating but thats okay! reading SHOULD feel like this. i hope you know that your story genuinely made and impact on someone today. the world is blessed with writers like you that share writing like this. the songs are also peak. i usually hate switching to random songs mid way but with cupids code it felt effortless and made me enjoy it further. it helps that we have similar taste! this message is extremely long and im terribly sorry but i just had to stop reading mid way to appreciate your work. people like you make the world easier for people to digest. the way you have with words, emotions, and how you describe different life styles is amazing. you have a pure talent for writing, thank you again author for blessing me with your writing.

Hola! I’m usually VERY picky when it comes to reading fanfics, and it’s really hard to find one that’s an an actual SLOW burn + with impeccable writing. Then I stumbled upon yours just yesterday, and let me tell you... I binge-read your fanfic and it’s soooo good! Beautifully written every chapter.  It’s an actual slow burn (which I love, love, love!). I hate it when characters fall in love after five chapters.. like, hello?? 
          
          & my goodness, your writing? It’s incredible! It’s so engaging, (and I promise I’m not glazing ) The way you wrote Megumi’s and the OC’s backstories, as well as how you tackled abuse, was done so beautifully. Your words cut straight to my heart 
          
          I’m so excited for the next chapters! I’m hoping for even more slow burn (hehe, don’t make them fall in love… yet ). We want more drama, jealousy, and angst!
