maybe i desperately wish to finish stories i create because i just can't seem to finish this one i'm supposed to be living but is so foolishly dreading

it bites and burns every jagged edge of my existence
exhausting the vile fire i lit in my core effortlessly
at some point i learnt to deal with it so quietly
i began failing to notice the dying gravity
of how much it's been slowly & surely
