A little about me: I'm a free spirit. 
I'm nineteen years old and have written music, as well as stories/poems, since I was five years old. Here's to a lifetime of carpal tunnel!

I mainly write poetry, but I've been experimenting with romance writing as well as horror/paranormal. Feel absolutely free to share your work with me - I encourage all with a peculiar mind!

I chose to go by the name Melpomene for a few reasons. Melpomene was one of the Nine Muses, said to inspire creativity in artists of that time. Melpomene was the Muse of Tragedy and Music, both very strong focal points in my own life and personality. I guess you could say she's my creative alter ego.
