I told myself that November would be the return to writing and it has been so far. I have updated Ch. 1 of Cooking Club to remove some errors it had in it. So most of my "writing" so far has actually been editing, but I am still trying to get back in the swing of things.
Well I /was/ doing better and then yesterday happened. Thank you both for the kind words of welcome.
Dropping in to say that today I went to the Unicorn Cafe from Amaranthine. :3
I know I'm a big dumb nerd but it made me happy to sit in "Win and Team's seat," drink what Team did, and see this place in real life. :''')

Small update. I am in Thailand and had the surgery I needed. There might be another surgery before I leave. Not sure. I'm doing well. Minimal pain. I know "surgery" is a scary word, but my life is not in danger, and the Thai medical system is very good!
I wish I could send pictures as I have seen a few neat things/places, but mostly have been stuck in the hospital or close to it for a week.

Been doing a terrible job of replying to comments. I hope to get through them today and take a tiny-ish break from working every freaking day. Who knows maybe I'll also make a cover or something for one of my other stories or write a few sentences of fiction.

Hello it's me again. I keep seeing stuff on reddit about people's stories and accounts getting deleted. I don't think my stories violate any of the ToS, but... JUST IN CASE:

To be real, the only reason I started putting some stuff on WP was because I was concerned it would be copy/pasted and stolen. To my knowledge, that hasn't happened. (Woo.)
The plan was always to have AO3 and wattpad be more or less similar in what I had posted, but god do I have a love/hate relationship with making covers. -_-
Anyway... This is just a PSA that if Amaranthine and this acct goes poof, it isn't lost. And don't worry, I back-up all of my writing. If you do read Amaranthine on AO3, just note that the chapter numbers are not the same, but the content is.

Just dropping in to say that fics are continuing to be on hold due to work and life, unfortunately. I do have more stuff to read on AO3, but haaaaa it's more WIPs. :x
No stories are dropped, mind you. I intend to finish everything I have started, but yeah, medical stuff threw me a curve ball. Sorry.
lol i was just reading your other announcements to catch up, and it really does take a few re reads to really wrap your head around what's happening, and of course the smut chapters have higher reads bc we all go back and are like wait WHAT.... dayummm plus you're writing style had a really good flow. love it ❤️
@sotanna Yay! You have no idea how glad I am to hear Amaranthine hasn't been dropped. I love it so much. You've really managed to catch the original essence of each character while enhancing them and adding your own new twists to their personalities. I also love all the cameos from other shows. The writing is funny, cohesive and thoughtful. Grammar, structure and editing are basically flawless. No cringey smut or fluff. I've read so many bad ff's, that I almost didn't read the first book when I I came across it. Now, I never want it to end I hope you are feeling better soon! Genuinely, not just so you'll keep writing ❤️

Hi @Beccie42! Don't worry I will, just sometimes (often) life gets in the way and I have waaaaaaaaaaaay too many WIPs for my own good.

In the event you didn't see my tweet. The update on Amaranthine probably isn't happening today either. Insomnia, broken coffee pot, life stuff, yada yada. What I /can/ do is get the rest of it ready (proofreading) to post so that I only have to finish the last ~600 words of it.
I'm terribly sorry. I really thought this stinking chapter would take me 1 week to revise/edit. Oh, how very wrong I was.
Question:
Should I go back through Amaranthine and mark all of the smut chapters with an emoji or something? I can see the numbers, and all of those chapter have the highest numbers of hits, lol.
Maybe it would make it easier for re-reads?
@sotanna for me, marking dirty chapters is not bad at all I appreciate it in authors who do it, I always look to see how close I am
Ahhh, I just realized the last stinking sentence from the last chapter of Amaranthine was MISSING. I'm so sorry! I just edited the chapter, but here's the gist:
After the part where Sert is thinking about how he is afraid of entering the next chapter of his life and closing the chapter of him being miserable over Noi, he /agrees/ with Ari that Yes, Noi WOULD want him to be happy! This is an important step in Sert's story and WHOOPS I omitted it. So sorry! :X
Also, I am working on the next update, but surprise, surprise it's been tricky. I wrote the original a long-ass time ago, and well, a lot has happened since then lol. The next part involves a few very specific kinks and it's really important to me that I write them correctly.
