          Hope everyone is doing great. This announcement serves as a reminder that the deadline to complete the participant form is 17 November 2024 (It will most likely be extended). Do share the message to your fellow Wattpad friends or other users. We are running a bit short on participants, and we have an extremely low number of individuals who have applied for the judge position.
          
          Spotlight HQ truly wishes to host the Spotlight Awards 2024, as we want to do the best we can to give undiscovered writers a chance to gain the exposure they deserve.

Hello everyone! We have some exciting news to announce. The Spotlight Awards have led to a significant increase in our followers. We have decided to start something fresh to the profile. When we reach 1000 followers, we will be giving writers an opportunity to submit their works to be part of our exclusive reading lists! With more followers, our profile can expose your book or books to a wider audience of potential readers. Stickers will also be made available, which you can place on your book cover(s), when you get accepted into our reading lists.  
          
          We're overflowing with excitement for the incredible things we have planned to develop this community further.

Spotlight HQ is back with some announcements.
          
          1) Thank you to everyone who have submitted their participant forms early. The Spotlight Awards Team have started the screening process, and we already have several accepted entries recorded! The screening process will, hopefully, come to an end by 17 November (depending on the number of forms submitted). 
          
          2) Despite the good news, we do have some bad news too. The volume of judge applications has been extremely low. Up until the publication of the writing contest book, we only received two applications for the judge position. Remember, no or few judges means a slow contest that either takes a long period to come to an end or a contest that closes without even taking place. Hence, we urge all users interested to take on this position to prevent any disappointments. 
          
          3) We have updated the "Setup" chapter, since several Wattpadders have asked how they would know if their books were accepted or not. Check the extra phrase added under the preliminary round heading in the chapter.

          Additionally, observe the closing date to apply for the judge position
          10 November 2024.
          This date might potentially extend, as we are receiving a low volume of applications. For now, this is the fixed date.
