To whom reads this, 
          
          Hi. It's been two months since my last update, but I do come this time with something to say.
          
          As you who follow me know, I've been writing "Behind the Mask" with monthly updates. But suddenly, it stopped. Why? Well, I've lost my spark to keep passionately writing the characters I've made
          
          In all honesty, I haven't had the passion to write for a while, but I continued to write the chapters thinking, "hey! Maybe I'll get that creative spark back!"
          
          It never returned. I've just been lost, buried in so much work that I couldn't find time or the passion to keep on writing.
          
          Sith this announcement made, it means that "Behind the Mask" will be a discontinued wip until further notice. It'll stay as 7 chapters until I find the time to have a clear schedule instead of drowning in work

Okay, schools over. But, alas, I can't finish the chapter this month, but I'll get it to y'all hopefully soon (I swear)

          I HAVE RETURNED!!
          
          My gosh, it's been a while since you've all gotten an update on "Behind the Mask" so I want to give some updates of how it'll be like now:
          
          1) Chapter length will still vary
          
          Due to burnout, word counts will be indefinite, so some might be, like, 2,000 words and some might be 1,500 or less. Depends on how lore heavy the chapter is built out to be
          
          2) Format
          
          The format will stay almost the same with the author notes at the end of the book, but there might be some chapters where I decide to goof around. Although, it will stay timeline appropriate! (1990s-2000s)
          
          For those who might be asking:
          Oh! Will we get a second book?
          
          My answer to that is no. I don't aim to make a sequel to "Behind the Mask", as I think the story won't have anything else to add, but that answer might change in the future
          
          And happy pride month my shockers! (Idk, I'mma call you guys that as of now)

Hello. Here's an update
          
          1) Happy belated birthday to me (March 5th)! ^w^
          
          2) I will be going on hiatus from writing. My mental health hasn't been the best for a while and school has been cutting my time to write and develop characters properly in half. Not to mention, I already had a extremely buat schedule beforehand. The return of "Behind The Mask" is to be determined/unknown, but please be patient with me

Happy New year!! As you were aware, I didn't post a chapter last month. So, I promise to try and make it up this month and do two chapters (one long chapter and short one). The short one will arrive soon, while the longer one will come out later on in the month
