wattpad wtf stop deleting accounts. i went from 5.6k to 5.4k

It can be lots of things. Inactivity if not used within five years or so, violation of the terms of services, their codes and guidelines and even copyright infringement. These are to the common reasons as to why accounts are being deleted.

These past few weeks I’ve had my fics get adding to extremely derogatory reading lists, followed by comments about how much people dislike my work or how much they think it sucks.
          
          1) The authors see the reading lists our works get added to. Maybe instead of creating a reading list with the purpose of showing WP how much you don’t like a fic, just stop reading the fic and remove it from your library?
          
          2) While I understand that we’re not all going to have the same opinion, leaving hate comments and leaving constructive criticism are two different things. Do not leave hate comments on other people’s work.
          
          I understand my fics aren’t for everybody, and that’s okay. But if you will voice your hatred/ dislike for any of my work, including adding my fics to mean/ hateful reading lists, you will be blocked.

@standwithcap i'm so sorry you had to experience this!! that's so mean, people should just stop reading if they don't like a book ... hateful comments can hurt so much - even more, when you have put all of your heart into a story!! i'm here for you & i hope you feel better soon!! ❤

@standwithcap I feel this so much, it's so unnecessary and it can be so hurtful especially when you've put your soul in to a book and a character only for people to leave stupid comments and add it to mean reading lists. It really hurts so I'm with you 100% ❤️❤️❤️
