          Close Call - Steve Harrington headcanon
          
          When a mission inside the ruined Hawkins Lab goes wrong, Y/N and Steve are separated from the others and hunted by a demogorgon through corridors consumed by the Upside Down. After Steve barely saves her from being taken, they hide in a cramped janitor's closet with the creature lingering just outside.
          
          The fear of almost losing each other mixes with something more intense. Every breath and every touch is dangerous, yet the tension between them grows. In the dark, danger and desire collide.
