I would hate to call myself an aspiring poet because you either are or you aren't in my opinion. There is always room to better your craft and I suppose that is what I am doing. I am improving my writing and testing out newfound skills and styles. I am from a small town in Texas and attend a wonderful church. Having graduated high school, I am now a college student entering my first year. Although I've had years upon years of English teachings, I still find myself wanting to learn more. I learn something new about myself or about my poetry every time I write and I hope that you do as well when you read my work. I also hope that I may inspire you to do some writing of your own.
