he was born David Robert Jones on 8th January 1947 in Brixton, London and died 10th January 2016 in New York.
He was married twice, with one kid from each wife

Had a very bad cocaine addiction in the 70s,peaking at about 1975-76, when he becme the Thin White Duke, living on coke, cigarettes, milk and red peppers.

Blackstar was released on his birthday, two days before he died.
He took a break after a heart attack on stage in 2003.
Two albums between NLMD and BTWN with his band, Tin Machine, in 1989 and 1991 called Tin Machine and Tin Machine II. BTWN is considered the "wedding album", a gift for Iman
Apparenlty, his first wife caught him naked in bed with Mick Jagger, who he later did a duet with (Dancing In The Street) for Live Aid in 1985. Bowie also did a duet with Queen (Under Pressure) in 1981, which he performed with Annie Lennox at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992
Bowie also donated to a lot of charities, including Amnesty International, over his lifetime.
The films he has been in include The Man Who Fell To Earth and Labyrinth.
