baby no. prejudice is not racism. the argument you’re trying to represent is “reverse racism” which isn’t a thing btw. white people aren’t oppressed. i could call a white person a cracker and it wouldn’t cause them harm. But if you were to call a cuban a beaner it would be racist because not all latinos are the same. beaner is a mexican slur so before you try and claim i’m racist again i’m literally mexican. Also stupid bitch if you read what i wrote instead of trying to use the same “reverse racism” type bullshit on me again you would see that i said anyone can be racist towards poc. poc can be racist to one another but POC i’ll repeat PEOPLE OF COLOR cannot be racist towards white people.

Again racism is rooted in white supremacy meaning it benefits them. Prejudice is an individual bias generally against or in favor of something. White people never experienced racism or prejudice throughout history until they decided to free slaves and give poc basic human rights. It’s called generational trauma. That’s what built poc to be prejudice towards white people.

Racism is prejudice + power not all races are equal to one another. In history it has shown white people are superior out of all races. They’re not. Now racism can be experienced throughout all poc and poc can be racist towards one another as well. But when it comes down to white people they can be racist towards poc while poc can't be towards them. That's where prejudice comes in.

Prejudice has to do with stereotypes and racism but nothing with power. So anyone can be prejudiced against white people but it’s still not racism. Why? Well because in our society white people don’t experience job discrimination, poverty, police brutality or incarceration. Even if you’re gay you can easily hid that, but you can’t hid the color of your skin. While I'm not saying white people don’t experience many of those things, 99.9% of the time they don't experience it the same amount as poc. Even if I am prejudiced towards white people it would not affect their livelihood like it would a person of color.

hold up you never even answered my question so i’m just gonna assume you’re a white girl therefore you have no say in a discussion about racism. don’t tell me a women of color that i know nothing about racism when i’ve experienced it bitch.
