A small note because I got a request to my Tumblr today from here: this Wattpad account isn't getting updated at the moment since the site bugs so much and scheduling new stuff takes literally 5-15 minutes per piece because it keeps screaming errors that say anything from "internet connection lost" (my internet is fine and every other site works peachy) to "error t8r5jr9u/unknown error" and throwing me out of the site/logs me out when I try to publish something, which gets tedious very quickly so I just haven't bothered with it so I don't know when I'll update any of my books again unfortunately, unless the site gets fixed one day :/ (Yes I submitted a support ticket back when problems got this bad but they basically said "try our paid version because ads may be the reason for those bugs, otherwise lol suck it" so no help there)
I'm really sorry if there's people who are impatiently waiting for me to update my books here, but at the moment Tumblr and AO3 are the only places where you can find my new fics because Wattpad's bugs simply don't let me post and I'm tired of fighting with it. (My username is the same as here, swanimagines)

@mur44no- Yeah, I thought so. It's a shame people don't bother spending more than two seconds to learn how to use a site, don't know how to google for instructions and rather use ChatPoop to ask if they have cancer when their fingertips look redder than their friends etc. :D I really don't understand Wattpad's appeal or how the hell it is "simple" because when I type literally ANYTHING to the search bar, it throws me with that one and same BTS x reader book I have never opened because I don't read BTS content. In AO3 it's so easy to find the EXACT type of thing I want to read and if people who think it's "complicated" just took a look on it, they'd understand. Sorry for the rant, I'm just fed up with Wattpad stans who trash AO3 because they always act like entitled little shits. I just recently saw a reader who absolutely lost their buttons when they learned their fave story here is transferred to AO3 because the author feels like the story is no longer safe here and may also violate Wattpad's updated TOS in the future. Basically the reader was accusing the author for stuff the author can't help and threatened to send their TikTok audience to harass the author in AO3 unless the author cancels the moving plan... so yeah. I just can't stay here or let anyone translate my content when the strain keeps tightening and readers are increasingly becoming toxic.

@ swanimagines Thank u, Is awesome. But like u commented the most readers are on this app, And in the time I've been here and on Ao3, I've noticed that users prefer W because they find the platform's interface complicated.I also think it's better to get recognition for your work and not through someone else.
A hug for all. <333

@mur44no- You're allowed to reupload/continue translating my fics in AO3 though if you want. The toxic readerbase only seems to exist here in Wattpad because there isn't a clear site built feature for translations, which, I think, makes people confused about who's the og author. But AO3 has a translation feature (as long as you post each work as separate rather than a multichapter Wattpad book-like "oneshot collection") and I have never heard anyone having problems with it :) I've heard multiple other similar experiences to mine from others who let their stories to be translated and posted into Wattpad, so it seems it's just a Wattpad thing. Of course if you don't want to move into AO3, it's ok.
