Just posted the new chapter! Hope it’s decent.
          	Also, it has come to my attention that chapter three was riddled with mistakes because my dumb adhd ass decided to edit & post it during a hyperfocus episode. Usually, that’s when my brain works the best, but that day I hadn’t slept, was on a train full of people, and had just finished work. What could possibly go wrong? Basically everything. ಠ_ಠ
          	But at least I’ve fixed it now. See u!

Hi everyone. Unfortunately, yes, I’m aware of what they did with the ending of Soy Luna 4.
          
          I've already shared this on Instagram and other social media for those who follow me there, but I wanted to say something here as well.
          
          More than sad, I'm angry.
          
          It's obvious that this season was never anything more than a way to take money from the fans. They took advantage of a loyal fanbase, which is very rare! People were still invested in the project even after 10 years, and they used that to their advantage just to fill their own pockets.
          
          The deception is obvious, considering they promoted the project by posting photos of Luna and Matteo, leading fans to believe that would be the ending. Instead, what we got was something completely different.
          
          As far as I'm concerned, Simon's character has been completely ruined. Because of that, I'll just pretend this season isn't canon but rather some kind of AU, because otherwise Simbar and Simon’s character development wouldn’t make any fucking sense. He simply wouldn't deserve Ámbar anymore.
          
          Even if they were to make a hypothetical fifth season/movie, which I don't want and NEVER will, the series has already been ruined.
          
          They had the opportunity to create something truly great, but instead they just made a fool of the fans.

@Fangirl_C  Exactly. What really bothered me is that *some* (won’t name him, cuz he’s SO dead to me btw) of the cast members are now saying people shouldn't focus on the ships. The problem is that this is entertainment, what did they think was going to happen when they decided to break up the two couples that made the show so popular? Of course fans were going to come back to the series mainly because of that, lol.
            Yeah, they literally made a fool of us, and it's pretty awful, honestly, especially considering how loyal and active the Soy Luna fandom has remained over the years. They don’t deserve it tbh. No Disney fandom was ever this active 10 years after the series ended. I don't want a fifth season, and I'll never ask for one, because, like you said, it's obviously just another way to cash in on the hype. Since the other new Disney shows have been flopping, they're taking advantage of the old ones & the nostalgia factor. It's a shame, really.

@ swiftstruelove  100% an insult to the fans, especially with how they promoted it as "a gift". And worse of all, they're still trying to get even *more* money out of the fans, hinting that there might be a continuation with Lutteo, whether in the live shows (so people buy tickets) or in a possible movie/5th season. Unfortunally, a lot of people are falling for this trap and asking for more, when we should be punishing Disney for what they did, not rewarding them, but alas... 
            Anyway, this new season was definitely an AU because nothing makes sense, and that makes it easier to ignore. That's my recommendation to all: Ignore it. Don't give them anything. They don't deserve it after what they did to us.

yeah lol sorry if I’m being very obnoxious, but apparently she's going to be traveling, which means she won't be in Argentina—where they're filming—for a while. I know this doesn’t necessarily mean that she won’t be in this project, but I’m slowly losing hope. I reallyyyy hope I’m wrong :/

@swiftstruelove gurl omg calm down it's only day 3 of filming and apparently it's 42 days total, so many things can still happen, and again, with just one dialogue of Luna telling Simón "Say hi to Ámbar for me!" we're safe, don't lose faith yet TToTT

Oh god, I still can’t believe it , but apparently, they started filming soy luna 4 today. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t absolutely terrified they’re going to mess with our ships. Especially Ámbar and Simón (I’ve been obsessed with them since 2017, and if they break up, I swear it might just trigger a full-on identity crisis). If they’ ll break them up because valentina isn’t returning, I might honestly regret ever wishing for a fourth season for the rest of my life. Just putting that out there…

@swiftstruelove Hell, if they break them up, *I'LL* be turning to my own stories for comfort skdjfn. I think the whole fandom will just choose to live in delusion. I hope my fics help

@Fangirl_C I I feel the same way — I also think the story will mainly focus on Luna and Matteo. As for Simbar, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, since it’s hard to predict anything right now. If they do end up breaking them up, I’ll be turning to your stories for comfort!

@swiftstruelove I genuinely don't think Valentina will return unless it's for a cameo, but it's still very easy to say Ámbar and Simón are still together without them needing to show them together. Her absense can easily be explained by her studying abroad in Paris or something like that. And we don't even know if Simón will be part of the main cast in this new season. Maybe the story will only revolve around Luna/Matteo and a hundred new characters, and the old characters will only show up once or twice. In that case, it would be even EASIER to leave Simbar intact, since the drama of the season would have nothing to do with either of them. 
            "At this point, my biggest concern is that they’ll undo all the character growth she’s had, like they’ve done in every season’s beginning. If they do that, I think it’ll be the final straw for me." omg SAME. I would SO MAD. Ámbar is literally the best character they ever created and her arc was *great*; if they take that away from us, I'll RIOT. 
            "if we don't count Lionel Ferro who would literally sell his kidney for a viral video" DSKJFKN THAT'S SO TRUE I LAUGHED OUT LOUD.
