          hey ,  just  wanted  to  share  something  personal  since  it's  holi  tomorrow.  it's  a  really  sensitive  topic  for  me.  when  i  was  around  11  yrs  old ,  some  random  men  came  up  to  me  and  forcefully  put  colours  on  me.  it  was  already  late  in  the  afternoon ,  i  was  walking  back  home  alone ,  every  other  friend  of  mine  already  went  home ,  and  the  streets  were  empty.  there  were  no  adults  around  and  so  i  couldn't  even  call  for  help.  this  single  experience  made  me  so  uncomfortable  that  i'm  still  terrified  of  playing  holi  outside.
          
          i  wanted  to  share  this  to  remind  you  all  to  stay  safe.  if  you  are  going  out ,  please  look  out  for  each  other. remember  that  nobody  has  the  right  to  touch  you  or  put  colors  on  you  in  the  name  of  "bura  na  maano  holi  hai".  your  safety  and  your  boundaries  are  a  hundred  times  more  important  than  a  tradition.
