Congratulations for the #ambys2025 round 3 qualifiers, and I thank the ambassadors for their effort to read many entries! I realized a lot of real persons in the wattpad community still now.

Unfortunately my recent work wasn’t passed the qualification, but I believe someone would fit very much into the world of Yamamoto Takuji.

This is a story about a fandom of the Tale of Genji in 1353. The characters faced the 60-years civil war in Japan. Even such a difficult era, people made their poetry anthology, textiled clothes, played their instruments, drew manga, and wrote their ZINEs. “Days in Green” is the tale about the eternity of the arts.

I’m in preparation to make an Ebook version of it.

Japan Writers Conference 2025 (29-30 Nov 2025) opened its program.
I heard this year's con would be the last, and I plan to attend it in person. It'll be the first and the last face-to-face attendance on JWC.

I attended it in 2020 online, and I caught a lot of information from the presenters. Actually, I'd not read a novel written in English until 2021! (Btw, I've written some scientific papers in English).

After that, I managed to make two fictions in English. DeepL, Grammarly, and human editors helped me so much.

This year, I'm interested in a program, "a native Japanese author on fiction writing in English.”

If you plan to attend JWC 2025 in ICU, please tell me your favorite presenter or the expected program.

The submission window has been closed of #ambys2025 at 31st Aug on a wattpad community by volunteers. Of course I’ve entried it. About the source of community reports, over 9 hundreds manuscript have joined! I appreciate that there are living humans other than writing bots.

Near half of authors write romance (25%) or fantasy (14%). I realized why recent publishers tend to push their portfolios for romantasy fiction. I like to read fantasy and romance, too. Btw, I’m too old to read tremendous long epic fantasy series because I have to care my kids. I’m looking forward good novelettes in the Ambys of this season.

I am a microbiologist in Japan. I thank you too for your interesting essay of archaeology. It is written in clear and simple English, so it is understandable for English-is-second-language people like me.
