I am a teacher of English as a second language (ESOL). in 2010 I volunteered at Tibet Charity, a school for adult Tibetan refugees in Dharamshala, India. That experience changed my life and set me on a path as a writer. I self-published "Between Monks and Monkeys" in 2011, and "The Yeti in the Library" in 2103 after my second round of teaching at Tibet Charity. In all I've taught 5 times in India (it's becoming a habit..) The last two times were at Jamyang Choling Institute for Buddhist Dialectics where I lived and taught the lovely nuns. I'm now working on my first novel which is very loosely based on the invasion and occupation of Tibet by the Chinese.
