I just wanted to say how much I love Adonis!! I come back to check on this story weekly!! I pray you finish it one day!! I hope you are doing well and I will obviously survive if you don't finish it. I just wanted to share my love of your writing with you and hope to read more when you are feeling better even if you don't finish I still wish you are healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally!!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are well. I just wanted to address my lack of updates as I understand it’s frustrating for those of you reading my works. I have been dealing with a lot of mental and physical health issues for a while and life has just been too busy for me to prioritise writing. I find pockets of time to give to it occasionally, but know I miss it dearly. I miss writing every evening and updating my stories for you and reading your comments and talking to you all. I have the next few chapters of Adonis written and plan to get them to you soon. I aim to finish the story with 50 chapters. I have always had a sequel planned but it probably will be scrapped as I just cannot at this point in time commit to it. My writing is always at its best when I can really immerse myself and enjoy it and this just doesn’t happen much anymore as I’m sure you can tell. Honey Dove is on hold, and Daydreams are always hard to finish because I hate writing smut- I know people say they don’t really care if there is smut or not but whenever I’ve glazed over it, I always get comments about how they wish there was more action. Honestly, life has been very difficult the past few years. I started uploading my writing as a way to cope with it and I’m so glad I did as I’ve made some amazing friends along the way and everyone has been so kind and loving. I’m really sorry. I want to finish Adonis. I do plan to eventually. I feel I owe it to my lovely readers who have chosen to read my works and I am forever thankful for all of the love and support you’ve given me the past few years. i can’t speak for everyone else and i’m not in your place so i know i don’t fully understand the pressure, but i’d never want you to feel forced to write for us. life is going to have its ups and downs and you’re going to go through phases where it’s more important to nurture yourself until you feel ready again than to write. and as a reader, i’d much rather wait to read something where i can tell the author is doing it because they are ENJOYING themselves while writing it, rather than because they are worried about pleasing their fan base. and of course you WANT to write again, not to make “pleasing their fan base” reductive of your experience. but unfortunately unless this is a full time career, this is difficult to balance!!! anyway i am rambling but all that to say, i hope you release some pressure on yourself and come back when you’re ready and however you want to- whatever form that takes for you
I’m so sorry to hear about everything you’re dealing with and I really hope you get better soon. Life can be really tough sometimes for sure. Take your time and dont pressure yourself ❤️ Just be sure that your books give so much joy for everyone who reads them ✨ but that doesn’t mean they have to be an obligation or something that puts more pressure on you. So be kind to yourself and know that we are sending love to you!
I don’t understand why authors don’t just say they’re not planning to update anymore. Obviously, you don’t owe us anything and life happens, but if you have no plans to finish your books, just be upfront about it. It literally takes one minute to log into Wattpad and write, “Hi guys, I don’t plan on updating.” Instead, you leave people begging for new chapters when you clearly aren’t going to post. Like, girl, just pull the plug and say it.
