Yall i am so screwed school starts tomorrow and I am so not ready

Continuing on, the whole brother situation was chefs kiss. How the brothers had their own problems and not basic issues, like deep-rooted issues. They all had their problems and tried to mask or help them in pretty unhealthy ways. Like a few had anger issues they couldn't really control (never took it out on her thank you) and you can tell where there problems come from and there is no clean way to fix it. One who deflects ALOT, one who masks his pain with a persona of happiness and jokes (my baby jax from tadc). One of them is a complete control freak who needs to know everything thats happening and a dissapearing dad who you can't hate. 
          
          The fact (i say this so much) thatthey are their own characteris also nice because some characters don't always have their own lives, they can just be an extention of the main character but also, why was I doubting that the author would do that.
          
          This book is was extraordinary, breath-taking stunning perfection thank you author for writing this. Usually I am so desensitised from the type of books I read I don't really cry, but certain chapters had me cosplaying waterfalls. The emotions this book had me feeling were a roller-coaster that I would love to experience again. 11/10 no improvements needed.

Ya'll I just read an amazing book and since I can't tell anyone about it and i need to be heard to feel validated it's going here. If you like found family mafia lost princess books, pls read this because it will be worth it. Welcome to my book review of "The gospel of a mafia princess" and if any of you can be bothered, please tag the author to convince her to update the chapters.
          
          Wow. First thought. Transcending the game. Absolutely effing amazing like insane. Evienne was so insanely realistic, especially about the first half of the book where she is having this whole existential crisis where she cares about her brothers and her brothers care about her, not just the quiet pretty chapel girl, and in the next moment she's worrying about her sins. And i love that because progress is not linear at all, trauma is weird and messy and hits you in the face when you think your fine. And it's not like all what happened before doesn't affect her after she gets so comfortable, it's literally what she was groomed to do.  But how she builds on from that feeling and it eventually increases to actual comfort is the important part. 
          
          Also the name change, oh the name change I love it. How she doesn't change her name back to the original one immediately after she gets comfortable with her brothers and I think this is kinda important cause usually the girl gets comfortable and she changes but no. Because (my english teacher's about to scream) she is only ready to deal with the present. She doesn't really understand her past or come to terms with it and she's really uncertain about her future. Why wouldn't she be? She literally has had her whole life infront of her planned for her. But she becomes Aruriel when she comes to terms with everything. The fact she knows her past and the reason why she was who she was, knowing that she could finally control her future, it was seriously one of my favourite books ever.
          
          Imma make anoth er post if ya decided to read this whole crazy rant.
