I reside in the Southeastern United States, so my location heavily influences my writing. Currently, I'm working on a novel idea which will be a Southern Gothic/Historical Fiction piece set in the 1930's Deep South Georgia involving an interracial "couple" battling societal prejudices as well as family intervention. One of the many themes resides on "forbidden love," but this is not a romance novel -- it might have some romance , but it is not the center focus of the novel. I hope to be writing this piece over the summer, so hopefully, it'll be published in the fall.
