Oh my goodness 

You are not forgiven. I have been waiting in the bathroom pretending to be sick since 8:00 this morning so I would have a chance to read it uninterrupted. I’m starting. My poor family has been banging on the door. I keep yelling “just a minute!” But it’s been hoooours. How could you?

I think I've seen your comments on Missanthr0pe's book Heroine. That is legitimately the only book I'm reading currently - and I'm several chapters behind on it, just to give you an idea.

            I'm really sorry, but I very rarely read anything these days. My schedule is super packed and I spend about 95% of my free time writing. I will for sure put your book on my list! But it's probably going to take me a while to get around to it, so don't feel obligated to read mine. <3

            I apologize for all the delays. I have a few chapters of the sequel ready, but with the writer's strike going on right here where I live, I am waiting until that's settled to post any new content. In the meantime, I'm still working on it, so whenever the greedy ghouls at the top of the Hollywood decide to pay their hardworking writers fair wages, there will be regular content updates again!
            
            (If you don't know about the WGA strike in America, over 11,500 writers in the Writer's Guild have been on strike since May over fair wages and protections around the use of AI. In solidarity, I've chosen to join them and I won't be publicly posting any content during the strike!)

Really looking forward to it! Just binged Elemental and can easily say it’s my favorite book I’ve read on Wattpad. Definitely going to read anything else you write!

            I was going back and forth on the end for a while. There is a draft somewhere of an alternate ending where when she pulls the trigger, it kills him - but it didn't feel right. As much as I wanted the world rid of his evil and as satisfying as those two seconds felt, she wouldn't have been able to move on from being the one to end it. I couldn't move the plot forward from that point at all, so I had to rewrite it. I went through a few different versions - even one where Johnny stepped in for her! - before I settled on this one.
            
            To me it felt bittersweet, not quite satisfying - like a pause, waiting for something else to happen. Waiting for me to flesh out the sequel, I guess! The good news is, I have a true ending in mind. It's possibly going to take a while to get the ball rolling there, I have been working a lot and I'm still struggling with cover and title ideas, but there is finally a coherent plot idea for the sequel!
