          Hey loves, my amazing readers 
          
          I wanted to hop on here real quick to let you all know what's going on. As you might have seen or heard in the news, the current situation in the GCC (and especially here in Dubai where your favorite author lives) is pretty intense and hectic right now. 
          
          Explosions, flight disruptions, emergency alerts it really is a lot, and it's affecting daily life in ways I never expected.
          
          You know me as a writer who usually keeps things strictly fandom, no real-life talk, no drama outside the stories but I have to be honest, things are chaotic enough that I can't focus on writing the way I want to, and I don't want to half-ass chapters or rush updates when my head isn't in it.
          
          So, I'm taking a break from updating until the situation calms down. If/when things settle (fingers crossed it happens soon), I'll need a little time to get back into the groove, but I promise I'll come back and give you the stories you deserve.
          
          To everyone in the GCC especially, please take care of yourselves and stay safe out there. Shelter when you need to, follow the alerts, look out for each other, and hold on tight. You're strong, and we'll get through this ❤️
