I am back! For context's sake, the reason I've been so scarce on here is that I've been trying to get published in literary magazines, and lots of publishers aren't big on your work already being available to read. You can expect some of my stories to appear and disappear based on my query status. 
          	
          	I'm going to try to publish some more short stories on here in the near future, and hopefully some more prompt-responses, so look out for that. If you haven't seen it yet, "Thirteen Macabre Tales" is a book where you can find all of my  horror related stories. Hopefully it'll keep someone from boredom during this isolation/quarantine.

I believe I’ve done the opposite as you! I finished my MFA and then got into a couple magazines (cream city being the most high profile one), but it was hard to get an agent so I came to wattpad to test work on an audience and just find dope writers to exchange work with. 
          	  
          	  Anyway I know this post was from 3 years ago but I hope you return bc I came across your umbrella project and it’s so dope and it’s so similar to a lot of my aesthetic. So here’s to hoping to return and that we can be internet writing friends LOL

@thenonmouse  You deserve every follow and read you get. Your work is clearly a few cuts above the WP norm and you have all the potential to make professional one day -- either trad or self pub.  I mean it. That's not just hollow praise.

What's going on with my book's covers? I don't know either. Probably just a glitch with Wattpad, so I had to unpublish some books. Expect them back soon. And with new covers, because apparently I don't know well enough to make backups.
          
          I haven't been as active lately, but that's because I've been working on some longer fiction. It should be starting to show up as soon as I can get it finished and edited.

In an interesting turn of events, my school has banned Wattpad (and not in an "I'll get in trouble for using it" way but in a "I literally can't access the site" way). I can only assume that the grade 7s have been drinking the mature-werewolf-fanfic koolaid.
          
          So, to get to the point, any replies to anything are going to take longer, but I promise I'll get around to it eventually!

The (Short) Story of the Evil Umbrellas is now complete! It has 15 different short stories to choose from, with a short chapter (Table of Contents) that gives a brief description of each. And there is now, also, a strangely emotional Afterword. Please, consider giving it a read and a vote if you haven't already, or even if you just haven't for a while.
