I didn’t want to say this, but I think it needs to be said.

To some readers—please remember that respect should always come first. If a story isn’t your cup of tea, it’s okay to simply leave quietly. Hindi naman po kailangan mag-iwan ng comment na makakasakit o makakabawas ng motivation ng isang writer.

My best friend recently decided to unpublish all of her stories because of the constant bashing she’s been receiving. And honestly, I don’t even understand where all that hate is coming from. She’s one of the most genuine people I know—she treats her readers with so much care and appreciation. So why respond with negativity?

Writing is not easy. It takes time, effort, emotion, and responsibility. As writers, we do our best to fulfill that responsibility. Sana bilang readers, gawin din po natin ang part natin. Constructive criticism is always welcome—but hateful comments are never okay.
This is not meant to attack anyone, but to remind everyone: words have impact. What you say can either inspire someone to keep going or push them to stop completely.

Nakakalungkot lang isipin na may mga writers na nawawala dahil sa ganitong klase ng treatment.

So please, let’s choose kindness. Let’s choose respect.

Because one day, don’t be surprised if more writers decide to leave—not because they lack passion, but because they were made to feel like they don’t belong.

THISS! Writing is such a personal art and people should even be touched that a writer allows you to read her thoughts.
