Personal opinion on the BOT tv show, I just think that it will completely ruin the true meaning behind these books and the message the author was trying to get across. I think the books tell a story behind the romance, but I know that this show will just focus on romance and hot casting—the person who is writing it, is the same one who wrote the “Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” television series, and she just completely watered it down. Truth be told, it’s just gonna be the twilight adaptation all over again.

@that_book_babe_x exactly! I really think they aren’t gonna get the right message, and these new people that are just gonna watch the show are gonna think of this as just a regular romance show, and it means so much more than that.

honestly the books have so much inner dialogue and with a tv show I think so much of that will be missed. Especially with johnny and shan because they both think so lowly of themselves and their dialogue shows so much about them

and the people finding it will ruin it and say how much they love it. LIKE IT WAS OURS FIRST UGHHH. i really really hope they cancel it like right now tbh
