@courtneyrush756 They are about the lives of 4 brothers and what makes them act and do what they do..The 1st book is on the youngest brother Lord Ian Makenzie brother to Scottish and English Duke Hart Makenzie..Ian has a form of autism and also what I think sounds like a little asperger's syndrome added in..He meets a woman he wants and the book goes on to tell his life story about his abusive father and how he was locked away in an insane asylum after seeing his father kill his mother..It tells the relationship he has with all his brothers, the oldest brother Hart being the most complicated..Hart is someone you hate and love at the same time..Everything he does is because he loves his brothers deeply, especially Ian..But he goes about that love the wrong way and is domineering and almost tyrant like..All of the brothers are damaged and broken in some way by what their father did to them.It made me cry and laugh both..All the first 4 books on the 4 brothers are awesome reads..You don't have to even read all the other books in the series if you didn't want too because each book for the brothers finish their stories..The other books expand their stories and mix them with other characters.
