Writing lgbtq+ stories is one of the only ways I have to be myself and express my feelings when it comes to who I am. I incorporate a lot of myself into my stories as there's really nowhere else I can express myself because I have an outrageously homophobic family. Wattpad is sometimes my only outlet.
