I've read, reread and thought over your work. Scholars is a total mind fuck at the end... I don't know what's real and what's not. The shift from the main storyline into Marcus' story draft and Caroline's dream back to the main line is seamless, had me holding my breath and murmuring profanities at Seaton the whole afternoon, forgetting its only fiction. Your work is reminiscent to me of the Wachowskis' Cloud Atlas and Matrix Trilogy. It's truly awe inspiring to read, it takes on some serious matters in a modern and light hearted manner which is so refreshing yet terrifying to see complex issues we deal with on the daily laid bare and simplified in a subtly manner so as not to offend or encourage one perspective from another.

I will say that what you are proposing is very far from my own literary interests and any advice I might give could be inappropriate to your subject matter and probable intended audience.
