this app is so awful i have just seen someone who openly admits to fetishising depression and gay men on their profile? are you okay? not to mention the awful books i’ve read, including but not limited to pedophilia, domestic ab*se, self h*rm, k*dnapping, gangs, su*cide, r*pe and hard dr*gs. also literally p*rnography gifs and pictures. wattpad really needs to start monitoring the content people put out. i joined this app at age NINE and grew up thinking ddlg was what relationships were like, and that someone offering you unknown dr*gs was acceptable. i’m fifteen now and this app has desensitised me to a whole lot of stuff, and i think it’s disgusting people are openly allowed to mention the fact they find gay men cute?? i’m a lesbian and its gross. just a PSA bc some ppl think it’s fine to keep their toxic, p*dophilloic and triggering books up at their big age. bet you didn’t know a nine year old was reading your boyxboy ageplay oneshot- how do you feel now?
          wattpad also has a section on the website where your books will be advertised to a MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDIENCE. they know the ppl that join this app and they reccomend the books no one should have to read. this app left me with so many mental health problems, and they’re going to stick with me forever because teenage girls thought c*tting was quirky and they thought ab*se was quirky and they never thought of consequences

not to mention how much it changed. you have to sit through like 10 ads a book, paid stories flood your recommended and is literally a way of scamming children so good one!!! the website is useless at auto saving because there has been so many times i’ve written huge chapters and it just doesn’t autosave. the app has a history of deleting books that called them out, messages glitch and notifs glitch often. the help menu doesn’t have a button to report abuse ect i rlly do hate this app
