What's to tell?

I've been writing for several years. I don't know if what I have written is good because I have a difficult time with trust. People say, "Oh, I like that. You should get that published." I think maybe they are just being nice. I know I have much to work on and many changes to make to my drafts as I go along in this hobby. Although, I wish it were my career.

I'm looking for positive criticism or ways to get better. I understand that some will be harsh, but am seeking ways to get better. So, if it must be harsh, then it shall be. With my career taking most of my time, I am pressed to find ways to keep writing and reading.

I dream. Maybe we are all dreaming, trying to find a way to tell our stories. After all, what is in my mind may not be what is in yours. How I see one thing, may not be the way you see it. When I put my dreams and my words down for others to read, I find it hard to let go. I find myself wondering what are you thinking as you look at my words. How can I write more to have you see what I see?

I look forward to building relationships and creating a community where I can exchange ideas with others. Thank you.

Not sure how many are seeing this, but I am working on my next thing. It's going to be my own piece of the DnD universe... maybe.
