Although presently involved in writing a memoir, I love writing short stories.
A face on a subway car, can trigger an idea. A familiar scent, or an overheard conversation on a slow elevator, can do the same.
My aim, is to keep the story as short as possible, and at the same time, convey a concise idea/ image.
