im not going to unpublish my joshler fics for the time being, but i really cannot support twenty one pilots any longer after this and it pains me so fucking much. they’ve honestly helped me through some really tough times and they helped me meet so many new and good people and become closer to others. but i can’t support someone or a group that cannot support the lives of others. 
          
          black people have struggled endlessly for DECADES, and they’ve expressed how much they needed tyler to use his insanely wide platform to bring awareness, not just to BLM, but to other issues at hand that are occurring in the world right now. and to take it as a joke? when black people continue DYING? while others continue SUFFERING? yeah, that’s not a joke nor is it fucking funny. it’s a matter of HUMAN RIGHTS.
          
          to anyone who is defending him and his actions: please re-evaluate yourself and think of how much this affects black people and especially his black fans.

i literally feel so disappointed that every band i ever looked up has failed me in so many ways. i enjoy writing fanfiction of these groups so much and it’s helped me a lot, but holy fuck
