VHON MICHAEL is an 18-year old writer and activist currently based in Cebu, Philippines. He loves to write, dance, watch movies and series, take photos of random things, and eat. He works with several international organizations to address climate change, gender inequality, lack of mental health awareness, and inaccessibility of education, and has been featured in many international news and media. In 2014, he was awarded with regional artist award following his win in a science-art competition. He wrote several award-winning plays and directed a few award-winning short films.
