Hi, I'm Patrice! 

I'm a 21-year-old introvert gone wild. I like reading everything I can get my hands on, baking messy treats, following my favorite designers (J'adore Elie Saab), and laughing (a lot). I write genre-bending, speculative fiction stories for young adults and middle graders. Most of them feature life-changing secrets, forbidden friendships, and the coolest girls you'll ever meet.

I’m a Senior studying Political Science and English at Wellesley College. 

Some of my favorite books, movies, and TV shows are:

Elementary. Pretty Little Liars. Just about any Canadian sci-fi or fantasy show, especially Lost Girl, Continuum, and Orphan Black. Just about any CW show. I love The Vampire Diaries, but I'm obsessed with Gossip Girl, Supernatural, and The Originals.  I also really like Game of Thrones and just about any crime drama, especially Leverage & White Collar. As for books, like I said above, anything goes. Aside from childhood classics like Little Women and Harry Potter (totally a classic) I've recently read & loved Pointe, by Brandy Colbert, Divergent, almost any Paranormal Mystery and Urban Fantasy series, 17 First Kisses by Rachael Allen, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and Beautiful Creatures (book + movie). As for movies, I really like superhero movies. Actually I'm quite a bit obsessed. And movies with Sandra Bullock, Natalie Portman, Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Viola Davis (I'm really excited for her new show, How To Get Away With Murder), and/or Melissa McCarthy in them.
