December 18 2017 at 6:30 pm we lost an angel. Kim Jonghyun a member of a 10 year boy group. SHINEE had committed suicide. We are all mourning yes but instead of remembering his sadness lets use it to finally bring awareness to the issue of mental illness in asian countries, along with this lets remember Jonghyun as someone who helped others and stood up for the ones being belittled despite the consequences. He was a kind soul and as we send him off lets send him off with good memories and happy thoughts as that will give him his wish of being happy. You did well Jonghyun-ah you worked really hard. This is our farewell i hope the remaining time that you have left on this earth brings you joy as you look over us helping others. Even though it is hard for me to even type these words i think its time, goodbye Jonghyun and thank you.
This is a reminder that depression doesn't just stop or its not a real thing people die over this mental health issue every day. If you think someone is not doing so good go and talk to them and those who need help, help them. And if any of you are suffering talk to someone wether it be a friend, a family member, a professional or even me. Remember my doors aka dms are open for you guys to vent your pain if you wish.
Lets hold on to the memories Jonghyun gave us. Lets support the rest of shinee and lets support each other for the years to come.
Lets fight this battle for mental health awareness and consolidation together.
