So on of my favourite poems was on this site and now I can't find it i remember it was called little girl but then the name was changed, it was about tests. An authors friend wrote it but I can remember said author or the name of the book... Do you have any idea?? It would be greatly appreciated??

A note to all writers everywhere.

"I haven't even read the first chapter and I'm already falling in love with the book and the author. Things that relate affect us more than things that don't. Honestly I teared up a little at the fact that this is spot on for me. It's not only wanting to take the first step forward by help the ones in need it's in life. I struggle constantly by self doubt and the fear of being rejected. This hits too close to home and it scares me."

This was a comment I left on a book I had recently read. It was on the first paragraph of the first chapter, it wasn't even that. It was the authors note at the start of the book. When you write stories, make them relatable. People connect so much more when they relate to things. Readers form a bond with characters no matter what but the more relatable their situations the stronger the connection.

The whole goal of writing a story is to draw emotion from the reader; is it not? A reader who is emotional while reading your story is the best thing ever. Knowing that you caused that. You writing ultimately changed something about them or they were so strongly connected to the book and the characters they cry and scream in exasperation. To make someone feel so greatly about something is a gift. Don't mess it up with a weak plot. You'll do great.

Connections are everything. Use them well.

          Take care xo -N
