I worked for many years as a teacher and a principal and then started writing a humorous crime novel titled "Nite Lite" and I was very pleased when it was shortlisted for the British Crime Writer's Debut Dagger Award.
Interestingly, it was on the airplane back from London that I began sketching out the story line of another novel. It would revolve around a character who was abducted by a preditor as a child.
I wrote, "A Wooden Duck" in about six months. It bridges two stories as Sebastian, who is grabbed from the streets of Las Vegas. returns as an adult to investigate a murder and gradually come to terms with his incredible experiences as a child.
As well, I am in the process of finishing "Nite Lite" and I also write picture books and have recently worked, with an agent on a children's book titled, "Baxter Repeatedly."
