Accidently found this amazing poetry called ‘‘Venus’’ by Federico Garcia Lorca and these lyrics straight away reminds me the eternal love between Dryden and Astria
I saw you thus
The young woman, dead,
in the shell of the bed,
stripped of breeze and flowers
rose into undimmed light.
The world remained,
a lily of cotton and shade,
through window panes
watching the infinite transit.
The young woman, dead,
proffered love from within.
Her hair vanished
in the foam of sheets.
Reminding me the love, loss, and eternal presence between Drastria couple emphasizing the essence of timeless connection, portraying their bond as transcendent even beyond physical existence.
