I’m not really active on here anymore, but i thought that I should come on to spread awareness about the recent uprise in hate crimes to asians. as someone who regularly consumes Asian culture and Asian media, I think that it’d be really irresponsible and disrespectful of me not to talk about this.
since the beginning of COVID there has been a surge in hate crimes against the Asian community, most recently the shooting in Atlanta that killed 8 people (six of which were Asian women).
if you see any petitions or resources, please sign and educate yourself on these matters and do as much as possible to help the Asian community
