I love to read. I love to write as well. I read existing works to get inspiration and new ideas, and also to help me develop my own writing style. Tamora Pierce is one of my greatest inspirations. Also, most recently, I have finished a series by David Eddings, and his books have helped me develop my fantasy novel's characters a bit beyond where I had them before reading his works. I am also writing a crime novel. James Patterson is my inspiration for that particular work. Most recently, I have started research for an historical fiction story I would like to write. I look forward to eventually sharing my writings with you all, but for now, I am content reading what others have posted and working to perfect my own literary works.
