Awkward jazz hands. Hey there, it's me, Granger! Your not-so-favorite friendly ghost is back surprisingly! 
          
          I think after a year of putting off TRC on an indefinite hiatus, I realized maybe the story just needed some rewriting. 
          
          With that, I will unpublish the book itself for now and post the revamped versions. I'll leave the AFF version up because a bitch has no idea how to unpublish a work without deleting it (the bitch is ME). 
          
          You're probably wondering how nothing is really happening yet in the book for me to decide on this but honestly, I've figured something out about what was lacking in the story (and my motivation) and I wanted to re-organize them. 
          
          Until then, thank you for your support even within those few chapters of The Rouge Club.

          So again, it's been a while. I so hate myself for not updating my works but that's because I'm so ambitious with the outlining process, I get overwhelmed by the immense amount of information.
          
          I decided, for the sake of my mental health, that I will be putting The Rouge Club on an indefinite hiatus. I wrote this out of a whim and at first, had no direction for the story (until now, apparently lol). I want my track for this plot to be clear, but these days aren't those days. Doesn't mean I lost the muse for it, I just know the idea and spark will come back soon enough. I just need the will to return to it, trying to push through the idea of "I need more time" even though I can but my mind just kept saying no. 
          
          Let's just say, I don't wanna force my work out there to the point of mediocre. 
          
          While I was recovering from this dilemma, I was actually doing a lot of writing outside of this site. I never really stopped it, I just realized I'm not the kind to share something unpolished yet like TRC. I had friends to support my journey beyond this platform while I was learning how to face the battles as a writer, which I still do.

I see that many have read TRC and are waiting for its update. That's why I'm writing this post for you---I apologize for the extreme delays.
          
          It's been a rough time for me in real life, especially being daunted by so many responsibilities and self-doubts during the prolonged pandemic. It didn't mean I stopped writing overall, in fact, I'm writing outside of this place too! I just don't have the spare time to share it to you all, yet.
          
          That includes the few pages of the last scene with TRC. I'm not good with promising WHEN it will come, but I can assure you that I'm almost there.
          
          Just please be patient. I don't wanna rush this story, okay?

          Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to every one of you! Despite the rough patches we've encountered throughout the year, I'm grateful to meet so many people that suddenly became important to my entire life.
          
          Thank you so much, and I hope to meet more along the way this coming 2021. It's a new life for you and I, so let's all throw away our negativity and jump for another fresh start!

I'm sad and it's because 'cancel culture' might always be a thing on the Internet that we can't rip ourselves apart from, even if it means telling people that it's just educating them.
          
          We're easily wired on the negative part of a comment and that's okay, you know? But what really matters is how you act and respond to it. that some people resonate so easily upon it, it cultivates into a reaction that you want others to see and support it instead. 
          
          Basically, an endless and nuanced chain reaction of people fighting up their emotions.
          
          Just remember, you're a human and an individual. You can make mistakes, believe in things other people don't or hold onto a philosophy where you need to sacrifice for your self sake. You're free to learn, and to keep learning. You shouldn't be afraid of being curious about the world, it's not as small as you think it may be sometimes.

Ah. . .The last month of 2020. I gotta say, it's still so tough out there even though I've spent the entire quarantine, writing and improving my craft. I haven't updated TRC when I promised to during NaNoWriMo because the pressure on it was too much. I didn't want to release a chapter that felt like a school project. I wanted to make every chapter meaningful, despite some parts being boring for the sake of build-up. 
          
          But, it didn't mean I stopped writing altogether either. I started some projects aside from this--from one-shots to three-shots, typical romance to sci-fi horror, etc. Just something that can not only fill the pages, but also make up for the event of NaNoWriMo and my passion for writing in general. 
          
          
          Aside from my update, I have something else to say: 
          
          
          I missed you all. I hope you're doing well there! These remaining days of the year may still be uncertain. Perhaps you'll experience those blue days again, or days where you can't even explain enough but to feel disconnected of reality. 
          
          I want you to know everything you're feeling right now is valid. Take a deep breath, let it all flow in you then when you're ready, let go of them.
