Franziska mentally facepalmed that she couldn't control her voice. She shushed the crying toddler by slightly rocking her. Before Miles could even respond, Franziska got up and walked to her car.
"Where are you going-"
"To the store."
"Why?"
"To get her new things."
"Huh?"
"Well i decided that i, Franziska Von Karma, am taking custody of Merrick Von Karma."
Mile's eyes went wide with shock.
"Pardon?"
"She is now my daughter, and WILL be treated as such."
Little Merrick started bouncing excitedly in Franziska's arms. She pointed at Miles and shoved him into the car with her. She put Merrick in her seat, and climbed into the driver's side.
"What exactly am I coming for?"
"To help me you fool."
When Franziska pulled up to the first store, people gawked at her in amazement.
"Franziska Von Karma?? What is she doing here?!"
"Wait- Franziska Von Karma?- and Miles Edgeworth?!"
She ignored the crowd as she unbuckled Merrick and began carrying her inside the store. Mile's face began to flush with embarrassment as he walked past the onlookers.
She walked to where the cribs were first. She picked the biggest, best crib in the store.

She then saw a small plush blanket, and decided to let Merrick hold it. Franziska saw her eyes light up when she was handed the small rabbit blanky
She made a mental note of it, and walked over to where more toys were. She let Merrick down and let her pick what she wanted, knowing that money would not be a problem. Merrick looked excitedly at everything, and picked out 7 toys.

Other kids stared in awe that Franziska let Merrick have whatever she wanted. So much so, that other kids started crying and begging their parents for stuff. Franziska guided Merrick along to see what cloths she wanted.
Finally, they finished shopping, and of course Miles had to cary most of the stuff, as 2 staff members carried the rest. When they got to the checkout, I he cashier looked shocked.
Franziska spent $26,792 . She really didnt care, as she made 9,629,027 in a week. Merrick was giggling and bouncing as Franziska put her into the car. She had called in a few others to help take things to her house.

Franziska turned her guest bedroom into a child's paradise. It had everything, from her little kitchen set, to her blankets and other toys.
She let Merrick roam free in her room for a bit, and went across the hall into her room to put potentially dangerous items out of her reach, even if it meant giving up her precious whip. She quickly ran back into Merricks room to make sure her new baby was ok. Franziska sat on the floor across from Merrick and opened her arms, signaling that she wants a hug. Merrick giggled and crawled over to Franziska.
"Merrick, i know you may not understand this, but..."
She didnt want to explain that her parents were bad people, so she decided to just leave that part out.
"Im going to be your new mama. Is that ok?"
Merrick pulled back a little to look Franziska in the eyes. Franziska bit her lip, fearing the toddler wouldn't like that she would never see her real mom and dad again, but her stress quickly left her when Marrick hugged her back tighter, and whispered
"...Mama."

Same, Kindergarten was the golden age where all you had to worry about is whether or not you broke your crayons I remember I learned to read in kindergarten and after that you couldn’t take me out of the reading nook if you tried.
