Hey Tony,
This is grenadae, the author of So now we're Homicides Together. You have supported me and this story when it was a mediocre, unedited draft in some unknown corner of this huge community and you'll be happy to hear that you can support me in the same way by becoming my beta reader for the full, edited and refined version as well. If you're interested, I would like to send over the material as well as a completion form so that you can contribute to making this book the best it can be.

I finished this book and honestly, I’m still reeling from it. This book was truly awesome the kind of story that grabs hold of you from the very first page and doesn’t let go. The opening scene, with Valarie being dragged through a hostile crowd, bruised and terrified, immediately set the tone. The imagery of the dome, the cold concrete floors, the unfriendly faces, and her desperate search for Annette was so vivid that I felt like I was right there, watching her world collapse. Her regret, her isolation, and the realization that the orphanage had been plotting against her from the start were written with such painful beauty that it hurt to read, but in the best way. What makes this book unforgettable is the sheer weight of betrayal woven into Valarie’s life. Sister Rufina’s confession was one of the most chilling moments I’ve ever read — the way she manipulated Valarie’s mother, destroyed her family, killed her father, and shaped Valarie into a twisted “successor.” The heartbreak of realizing Valarie had trusted the very woman who ruined her life was devastating. That revelation alone could have carried the book, but the author layered.Martha’s loyalty added a softer, emotional counterpoint. Sneaking in at night just to comfort Valarie showed the quiet, human bonds that still existed in her broken world. And then there’s the Professor — his quiet devotion was heartbreaking. He helped her hide the body, lied for her, and even rode through the forest while bleeding just to save her. His collapse when he found the blood-soaked cart was one of the most gut-wrenching scenes in the entire story. The ending tied everything together perfectly. Ambiguous, haunting, but with just enough hope to make you wonder if Valarie escaped, if she survived, if she finally found freedom beyond all the pain .This book is emotional, dark, romantic, and beautifully written. It’s the kind of story that lingers long after you finish. I’m genuinely grateful I read it — a masterpiece on Wattpad.
